This is what I’m reading just now, although it’s a lot of reading…

Or if new fiction is the thing perhaps something from last year’s Booker prize?

Or maybe something a bit more classic – Jane Eyre would be easy for everyone to get from the library…

Has anyone seen my lab book? I lost it last week, possibly in the ladies (ohhhh – ladies!) powder room in physics. It’s a thriller, man! I need it back! It has pretty pictures in it and a graph. Regrettably, it is not yet published on a grand scale. I was thinking of perhaps A0 format in the future. Anyone interested? me xxx

    hey guys,

olaug, what on earth is A0 format??…

james, i agree with you, i think the “turning of the screw” would be an excellent idea for the first book!!

    knowles,

yeh but, i think A0 is like a poster type size, although i don’t now what the bigger size up would be called, perhaps A -1. I think regular books are about A5 size. I wouldn’t mind reading something really awfully traumatic, it always makes me feel fitter, healthier and more productive sort of in relative terms and then i do a little skip and a hop as i walk along. Hooplah! xxxxx

    olaug,

hmm…you sound like Mary Poppins with your “skip and a hop”..though i dont think it was trauma that gave rise to her energy..although i do recall her being particularly annoid when she was fired for being too much of an alternative for the family!..

    knowles,

what are you trying to say? Perhaps mary was just high on pro plus and irn bru? Anyway, i can’t be bothered reading mary p. Bit sensible. What about mein kampf? I think i might be a fascist, you see. Do you think reading such like could turn ordinary people into evil ones? Hey ho o xxx

    olaug,

i dont think pro plus was avilable without prescription in those days, thus she either got them on the black market, or she was simply high on life! as for your fascist books, i think any literature has the power to transform peoples minds in any direction – be that good or evil. i am mildly hung over at the moment, i need water, water, water!!

    chaps,

knowles has spoken on the power of literature to transform the minds of the masses. Perhaps we should all read the complete works of delia and jamie and then see if a dinner club magically appears? I think i can see a metamorphosis coming along from reading a lil bit about loveliness like the new testament. Shouldn’t knock a story about goodness from the inside. Is it more than 400 pages? xxx
